This event is organized by DIGMA, The Design Industry Group of Massachusetts, in collaboration with MTC’s Innovation Institute. Our mandate is to grow the Massachusetts design economy by promoting it as the center for design excellence, including the following design industries: graphic, industrial, architecture, apparel, interactive and interior.
Now, more than ever, companies are seeking ways to rethink, restructure, and relaunch. In Massachusetts, some companies are catapulting miles ahead of the competition with game-changing products and services. How? Design.
Designers are experts trained to bring out the best of a service, place or product. And good design is a win-win: design is a plan to make life better, and it makes business stronger.
Massachusetts is rich with industries to prove this, including technology, tourism, life sciences, entertainment, retail, finance, consumer goods and manufacturing.
‘Design Means Business’ is a day-long gathering of celebrated business leaders sharing compelling stories and inside data on how design has strengthened their companies.
A roster of CEO-level speakers ranging from ZipCar to Reebok, and Genzyme to Sonos will generously explain, in detail, how design can increase market share, profits, and productivity, in small and large-scale programs. The conference will be moderated by national media figures, and will include in-depth case studies and panel discussions.
This is a critical event for key decision-makers in marketing, R&D, sales and strategy who are looking to win. You’ll gain access to valuable design resources and contacts. You’ll network with other industry leaders. You’ll see first hand how good design means good business.
